A mother’s love never goes away, regardless of the animal. Mothers love their children unconditionally and will do whatever it takes to ensure their well-being. This article describes a truly remarkable event that was fortunately caught on camera.
The amazing event was photographed by French photographer Jean-Francois Largot. He witnessed a lion cub falling off a steep cliff while he was in Kenya’s Masai Mara wildlife reserve. While his mother was studying the horizon, he had been nosily strolling around. Fortunately, the cub avoided hitting the bottom completely. Halfway down, it managed to cling to the edge of the precipice. However, it was insufficient to keep it alive. Even though the other lionesses backed off after realizing the cliff was too steep. But not the mother lioness, she plunged down the cliff to save her child. Using her powerful limbs, this predator put her abilities to the test as she used power and technique to climb down.

She reached to her baby just in time to grab him off the cliff when he was losing his grip. Putting all her strength and will into action, the lioness made a daring rescue and their way back to the top. This was one amazing incident that this photographer got to witness and capture on his camera.
