The owner introduced herself as Chelsey Weaning of West Virginia. She had mentioned that Flippy, the piglet from her sister-in-law’s litter, had shaking head syndrome, a condition akin to an uncontrollable tremor.

#2. Chelsey had said that Floppy couldn’t do things on his own.

They had asked Chelsey how she decided to keep Floppy with this condition.

She had declared that animals hold a special place in her heart and that she has always loved them. She also believes that she is able to speak for those who are unable to speak for themselves and that all of her pets were saved. Her sister-in-law and husband struggled to decide what to do with Floppy after he was born.

She then asked if they would like to give Floppy a chance at life, and if so, she offered to look after him. She had no prior knowledge of pigs when she took him, but she claimed to have learned a lot from Floppy and from her research. Afterwards, as they became more intimate, she realized that Floppy was destined to be a member of the family.




#3. The vet had said it’s better to euthanasia the pig as it wouldn’t last longer than a week.

He’s a smart, sociable, and loving piggy, according to Chelsey. and that he prefers being among people to being by himself. Loves it when people visit him as well. Additionally, he mentioned that he now knows how to open doors and walk up stairs.

She had also mentioned Floppy’s favorite things, like playing in his pool and getting belly rubs. She also mentioned that they wash him every day and that, in contrast to other piggies, he is extremely special.




#4. hey had not liked the idea of euthanasia and wanted to give Floppy a chance to live even for a short time.

They had even asked about the other, friends of Floppy in the house.

She had said that Kona and Kai are their 2 dogs and they also have 2 cats. Both the dogs are Floppy’s best friends and they spend time together. When Floppy was a piglet, Kona had become the mother figure to him. Though Flppy is now 3 times bigger than them, they still play around.  Though they haven’t faced any issue yet, they ner leave them unsupervised as it’s a bit risky to leave pigs and dogs together.

#5. Chelsey and her husband had taken care of Floppy as a baby, they had bottle-fed Floppy.

She had mentioned that they had initially been reluctant to display Floppy to the public, but one day they managed to get the greatest picture of him. It was tweeted by her sister-in-law, and Floppy got a lot of love in return.

Following that, UK artist Robert James Hull asked for permission to use Floppy’s picture in one of his greeting cards. Following that, they felt that Floppy’s story ought to be told since she had found love as a result of it. After that, they started the Instagram account, which currently has roughly 6.7K global followers. In addition, they own a company called Floppy and Friends in Floppy’s honor. Additionally, they donate money to pig sanctuaries.
